Trafostation West II in Rechlin

The West 2 transformer station is really worth a visit, you can eat and drink delicious there, there is something for everyone, nice and sufficient seating will be happy to return

In this "special" year, the Radlerrast transformer station is the most reliable catering point in Rechlin because it is open every day! We have never been disappointed before, the dishes are very good and always freshly prepared. The potatoes come from our own cultivation! The service is straightforward and friendly. We look forward to the next stop on our bike tour. All the best, especially health for the whole team!

Super delicious food, warm meals at 3:30 p.m. Very friendly service. Before that we tried to have lunch in the hotel in Boeck while we were passing through, but no chance. Kitchen was already closed 🙈 The transformer station can do that 👍

Unfortunately, we are very disappointed with the service. We were there 2 days in a row. On the first day around 2pm it was said “my mother is not there at the moment, so there is no hot food”. The two fish rolls that followed were good, but took forever to prepare. The next day it was around 3 p.m. “There will be hot food in half an hour” and another guest couple said that they got this statement half an hour ago. Therefore we are first shopping and 45 minutes later. Then all of a sudden it was said that they would no longer prepare any warm dishes today!

On our last day of vacation we wanted to strengthen ourselves after bathing. A quick look on the internet assured us it is open. At 1:45 p.m. we arrived there with our bikes and were very excited. The pictures on the net whet the appetite. A sign announced that the kitchen closed at 5:00 p.m. No problem, because it's 1:45 p.m., isn't it? The shop is dark and closed. Great! Obviously you don't really need it.

A very nice, lovingly furnished snack bar. The food took a while, but since it was freshly prepared it was okay again.

From a "glass kitchen", everyone can look at the chef's fingers, he smells typical tasty home-made food at reasonable prices. You don't want to boil a star, but serve down-to-earth food. And that works best.

Quaint, cozy rest area with super good food. It doesn't matter whether it's fried fish, farmers breakfast or waffles. The next time we visit Rechlin, we will visit the West Transformer Station || stop by for dinner again.

Well, what can you say if even the preparation of 2 soft ice cream takes a long time at high summer temperatures because the machine has to be started up first. The employees seemed rather overwhelmed to us. With friendliness, there is also potential for improvement.

Discovered by case. But we can recommend it. Delicious food and ice cream at a great price.
